We were there just before the childrens holidays so plenty of space for pitches but we changed our pitch as some 'if it's packed' have poor access.

On the minus side we did not like the pitches being so close to each other and you have to park your car 'Infront' of your caravan, so on some pitches you are just looking at your own car, they said it was H &S regulations, in 30 years of touring that's a first for me.

On the plus side if there is an award for toilet blocks this site will win all 5 stars going,(one of the best we have seen).

 M54 to Shrewsbury A5 to Oswestry A5 Corwen T/L at Druid for A494 Bala T/R A4212 Trawsfynydd A470  to Bwlch A496 to Harlech these are all good A roads, the worst bit is the last 9 miles from Blwch to Harlech along the A496 which you have got go down whichever route you choose, if you come from the Barmouth it,s just as bad, just take your time on the A496 and you will be ok, have a save journey and enjoy your holiday.

As a local, I'll second this as the best route IMO
