Well done Alison on your acheivement its always good to get one under your belt up there. You have to prayer you do not meet a bus, coach etc as your the one that has to stop for them on single line traffic whether your going up or down hill. So if you see one in the distance .....stop. Only once we had started to slide back down and that was a country lane down Devon?Cornwall border oh! boy I have never been towing where we slid as the tractor was coming at us big muddy wheels & road also. A winding uphill narrow lane, and this was the only road to where we were going. Heart & stomach in the mouth with deep breaths. Rather have a road I can see round that one covered with trees so you cannot see what is coming at you. Alot of the roads in Scotland we were on we found the single tracks you can see quite a long way, very helpful. Good for you.
