Thinking of buying a sunncamp ultima 390 awning. I have plenty straight rail width but the edge will go over a window, does this matter?

Probably not except that you won't be able to open the window concerned which might be a bit annoying.

Ours does that too. We just live with it and open the other windows instead. But then we've not been away in blistering hot weather so it hasn't caused us any problems.

Just be careful that during windy weather the edge of the awning is not rubbing against your window, I have heard of peoples windows that have been marked in this way.

That said, my porch awning also cuts across half of my window and I have not had a problem at all.

We have a Ultima 390 and have exactly the same problem - in all honesty it doesn't really matter, and doesn't affect the use of the awning - as others have posted just open other windows!
