switched from a f/c back to a tin top ourselves this year ,my advancing age made the canvas hard work .so back to the tin tops its like a merry go round

Bertie, what the weather like? We are going to do France next year as sick of the weather in England. Currently in the second week of our 2 week holiday and this is the first warm day!

Had 2 great weeks of weather only seen rain once and then only showers.

Only advice is, make sure you go far enough down for the weather.

We also switched from a folding camper to caravan this year. The kids love it as they don't have to help quite as much - which leaves them free to walk the dogs when we arrive (this suits us too).

Best bit is that my husband is happy to tow - I did most of the towing with our dandy.

Our friends came with us the first time to show us the ropes. We have no regrets.
