Which wheel is usually affected?  I`d make a guess and say mainly the nearside . . . . Prove me wrong, guys!  I have a new spare.  I`m gonna fit it to the Winning Side lol

any . there is no pattern. but seems like new tyres get punctures more easily do to the ability to pick things up in the tread.

Three in total in 30 years, two on the UK nearside one on the offside. However one of the "nearside" ones was whilst on the Continent so at the time it happened was on the actually on the offside.
The two later ones were one on each side within 500 miles of each other and were both self punctures caused by faulty wire core layup in manufacture.

Fix punctures all day long there is no real patter but ns is the favourite but then done all offside ones today!!!

We removed our spare van wheel from the carrier - what a 'pita' really difficult. Removal was inside our storage with no puncture. We now carry the wheel in our car - wife has made a nice bag to keep it in. We then leave it on the van floor when in storage.
