I there have a 1988 corniche,I was hooked up to the mains last night
And my interior lights stopped working.
I have power to the fridge sockets etc.
The power light which goes from red to green when charging is not working also.
Can you help please
Check all the fuses on the board also, the interior lights are 12v,has the battery power went down, could be a blown fuse at the charger or at worse the charger has failed.
There will be a board called an MCB where several trip switches are found and I believe that the lighting circuit is on a separate circuit to the three pin sockets circuit and fridge. Have a look to see if the one for the lighting circuit has tripped at all and if it has just flick it and re-set it. There may have been an over load from a high wattage appliance at the time such as a kettle or microwave etc. and these switches are there to protect the electrical circuits from over loaded electrical current.
Thanks tango all three switches are fine, it looks like the battery charger fuse or charger has gone.
As its a sealed unit I've No way to check !!!
There is no separate fuse for the battery charger
