hi all having been out of caravanning for a while [we sold our little freedom van ] we have now returned to the fold .,and have bought a small van [swift challenger 360se] which we keep on a site near york ,however everything ,s fine except for the beds they are a little uncomfortable, so we were considering some raskelf mattress toppers. Has anyone else had any experience of these or any other make ,any feedback would be helpful ...........ps its great to get back into vanning
------------- if it aint broke ...keep fixing it until it is !
We have had Rakslef both at home and the fc now going into our small caravan. They are excellant quality and buying the covers help also. More expensive but the quality is there.
But if you cannot afford them.
My sis got some of the trueform from her JDWilliams catalogue and she got the 2 inch and on her spare bed it was put on for me and it was fine. For a weekend got away with it
. But we got for 6-10 weeks at at a time so want a decent one that lasts.
We bought one from IKEA years ago and when not in use kept it in the shower cubicle.
What a difference it made - no more sore backs in the morning !
I second the Ikea one as it is a foam core but also has a wadding pad on top. very comfy and also hard wearing compare to just the memory foam ones with just a thin poly-cotton protective cover.
we use the dunhelm mill memory foam one. It folds away with the fitted sheet on it which means making the front bed takes a lot less time. Wouldnt be without it.
