I couldn't find a manual for mine - (not surprising, it's 30 years old! LOL) so I bought a Haynes caravan manual for that sort of year and it's come in really useful. You can get the Haynes one on ebay and amazon.
Bully - I may still have a handbook for Sprites from the late 1980’s, as I used to have an Esprite Charade, and it could cover the Alpine. I'll check later this evening, and if I can locate it will send you something.

Hi Bully1 - I've located it (couldn't wait!), and according to the front cover, it's for the 1989 year, and doesn't cover the Alpine2, but the XL, Eccles, Esprit, Elite, and Voyager. BUT the technical page does have the dimensions etc for the Alpine2! There's also chassis data and other information which is fairly generic to that range of models. So it may be useful to you, there were only 7 pages, and I'll happily mail them to you if you want.

I know this discussion hasn't had any activity since 2015, but any chance I may have a copy of that manual as I have just bought a 1989 sprite alpine xl and I have no manual
It’s unlikely as the OP is dated 2012 and the person hasn’t posted since 2013. The one 2015 post got no reply, not even from the person who left their email address a few years prior.
But you never know! Let’s hope someone has what you’re looking for.

Firstly any documents pre-dating the first widespread use of the internet (circa early 90's) are generally hard to come by, for the simple reason that early internet did not really facilitate distribution of facsimile documents! - Dial up connections and PAINFULLY slow data transmission! - so no one bothered to copy/store things like manuals, which were HUGE data files relative to the era!
Good(ish) news is that most manuals are predominantly little more than copy and paste reproductions of the individual appliance/equipment manufacturers manuals, and as this equipment is common across many caravans from many manufacturers, and didn't change for years on end, they tend to be in better circulation, so you can stand a chance of building your own compilation manual. What you need to do is identify the individual appliances from make and model numbers (often on ID plates tucked away in less than obvious places!), and then search for their manuals.
The other thing to do is not be too specific in the caravan manual you search for. Manuals often cover a range of models, and a number of years production as they didn't change much from one year to next, so a similar model and nearby year manual may well serve your needs.
