does anyone know of a storage area on a nic site in south east? ideally one where they take dogs and is fairly near a beach ? Have found some but so expensive to keep van there all year its abount £500 and my budget is much lower.
Think they offer storage at Hawthorn Farm in Martin Mill near Deal. Not sure re prices and t&c's as never needed it - but I've been there when the site owners have been parking them up for owners and getting them out and placing them on pitches for people etc.
I don't think there's any such thing as cheap storage in the South East.
I live in North Hertfordshire and have searched high and low for storage costing less than £400.00 pa. The closest I have got is £420.00 and that's in Bedfordshire.
I'm sorry to sound negative but I have stored my caravan as close as two miles from home and had it broken into and 42 miles from home where it was totally secure but so far away. Currently it's 18 miles from home and I'm very happy with that. I could keep it at home but think it's so unsightly slap bang at the front of the house for all and sundry to see.

Dogs welcome there too.
Second this too, we love this site, it's near me, we often use it as a quick weekend a way site, also there's one near me in whitstable ( can't get any closer to the sea than that) it's called ( forgot atm) but it is on golden hill road.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Remembered it, Primrose cottage golden hill whitstable, it's a small site, the storage is not undercover, and I've never been there ( that's just to close lol) but I drive past it everyday, it looks really nice. 5 mins walk to the beach, we are dog friendly in whitstable, we have oysters too lol.

I think the Blackhorse Farm CC site in Densole (near Folkestone) offers storage too and is dog friendly. Never been though as it is only 3/4 mile from me.
Just looked at it on Google earth and there certainly appears to be a storage area.
The Daleacre CC site in Hythe has storage too. Been there with our 2 dogs.
