After what seems like an endless search, we have finally found the 'van to replace our much loved Avante 482.

It's an Elddis Odyssey 524L in mint condition and of the same vintage as our Avante but with so many more bells and whistles on it plus an extra two berths - great if my son wants to come and visit with our grand-daughter.

Get it September 22nd - roll on.........

There's just one thing we can't fathom and that's how the L-shaped longe converts to two single beds. Can anyone throw any light on this for us please?

is it the L shaped lounge that turns into the double and the side seating turns into a single with a bunk over the top.

The L shape runs along the nearside of the caravan then across the front from left to right.

There is no bunk in this area. That is formed over the centre dinette on the right hand side of the caravan.

The L shape does not form into 2 singles - it is a double.

We are off on the 2nd but staying overnight in storage area for a quick early start get through the Dartford Tunnel before Olympics wake up....hopefully or it will be a bit rough cannot wait times a dragging. Our first time out since changing our fc to c.van.

Wonder what it will be like?????Hmmmm!!
