The sockets in my caravan have stopped getting power. I had a fan heater and a dehumidifier running in the van overnight. The van was plugger into my house via a standard socket. This morning I went out to chek on the dehumidifier and non of the sockets are working. Everything else seems to be working though, the fridge etc.

I figure it must be the fuse / circuit breaker for the sockets that's blown.

The problem is I can't work out how to get the circuit breaker out the CPU unit? I have tried to prise it out at either the top or bottom with a knife but don't want to break anything.

I also have another query re Mains Polarity. When reading my caravan manual today it says that the red light on top of my CPU is a polarity Indicator (I though it was just to show that power was coming into the van). The manual states...

"this neon light mount in the front of the unit indicates the main input polarity has been reversed and requires correction"

What does this mean? The light is always on whenever I am hooked up to the mains and has been like that without any issues since I had the van. Do I need to do something re this? I don't have a clue about electrics so please keep any explanation in simple language!

why are you trying to take a out the circuit breaker?
it should simply reset by moving the switch back to the on position (with the EHU off)if it trips out again you have a problem.
Maybe your EHU cable is wrongly wired if your Polarity indicator is always on??? its worth checking the connections just in case
