Well our very first caravan has been sitting in my drive way for the last 2 and a half weeks and we have been itching to go away in her so tomorrow is d-day, we have booked a site close to home and come 12pm tomorrow we'll be off for 2 days.
hope you have a great time, we have only been out 4 times in our tin tent , first trip not to far away in brecon, we were lucky so many people were willing to help us 1st timers, tried to get to brecon cc club, this week but they were booked, will look for somewhere for 2 weeks time, just enjoy. and make the most of this weather.
hi, bully 1, how did you,r first trip in the caravan go. hope you enjoyed yourselves, and you did not get to stressed out, like i said we have only been out 4 times are still learning ,and getting tips and help from other caravaner,s,only to willing to help us,mind you dora always seems to be the oldest van on site, see loads on the road when we travel but none on the sites we pick, where do the older vans go to.
All went to plan and even the towing was fine (touch wood while I say it) we are still learning but all the other caravaners were happy to help and give us advise, we are going to go for our second time next weekend just need to find a site now, the dogs loved it and were so good.
There are one or two bits I would like doing in the van but nothing that needs to be done right away, just need to get use to sleeping in the uncomfy bed now and we'll be fine lol!!
I know what you mean about the oldest caravan on site as I'm sure ours was when we went but I just could not care less I am 100% in love with my colin the caravan and it was so cosy in the night cwtching up with the tv and heater on, can't wait to go away again.
rocky123..... have you found any good sites you would recomend?
