I've not seen any evidence that they are any worse than others and rumours are about as much worth as the paper they are written on. I've got a Lunar Delta which is heavier than the Quasar and had no problems in two years. I tow on some roads that a lot of people would not even drive a car along and mainly use CL/CL sites that are far from level and would induce flexing if anywhere did. My thoughts are that a lot depends on the chassis used and if it is capable of being re-plated to a significantly higher payload then it is probably designed within the limits of normal use. I would be concerned if the chassis limit was right at the limit and there was little margin.

We are a select club as there doesn't seem to be many around and mine is bone dry.
The spec is good and the layout is perfect for our family.

Any large caravan is more likely to develop water ingress than a small one due to greater body flex. It dosen't help that some owners use corner steadies to level caravan.
