We will be moving from our tent into a caravan. We are very tight on space so need to know exactly how long any van will be. The length for any given van can vary from one advertiser to the next. Is the shipping length the same as the overall length including drawbar/hitch? I have seen the same make/model described differently. Nothing worse than coming home with one's caravan in tow, only to find it sticks out across the pavement!
The 'shipping length' is the length including hitch, ie overall length. You really must not take advertisers stated dimensions as gospel tho, even dealers ad's get it wrong sometimes. Find something like the catalogue or manual for caravan or take a tape measure when you view.
