Random one, but anyone from near Leeds remember the name of the caravan dealership in Yeadon near Leeds Bradford Airport? At the junction with Harrogate Road and Bayton Lane? Its now Yeadon Stoops pub/hotel.

Cant for the life of me recall the name of it, but I recall it as a child!

Caraland!!!!

I lived down on Canada Road (near the Stone Trough) and passed it regularly.
Still baulks me that yeadon "Stoops" pub is about a mile away from the actual Stoop

just been looking to see if I could find any pictures of it, but not, unfortunatly.

Caraland was also pre murgatroyds, was a car dealership when I remember it.

I still live in the area.

Brilliant thanks! For some reason all I can remember was the CI Caravans logo.

I'm in Apperley Bridge, just down the road, so Albion Caravans up towards Idle is now my nearest place.

Cara cars was at Ilkley parents bought their first Vw camper from their in 1973.... Many many happy hours in that with em and sister..sure that's what has given me my outdoor love.
