Rather unhappy Our Pegasus 2 is less than 18 months old, and went to it a couple of weeks ago in storage only to find water in front nearside bedding locker, and several items of bedding ruined.

Van taken to dealer for repair, and I stated specifically that I didn't just want lots of mastic shoved around the front. So - collected van. New additional mastic around front moulding. Was told front moulding had been removed to check for leaks, but having looked at them when I got back to the storage there's no 'finger' marks in the grime on the front to suggest this, and the sealant strip hasn't been replaced across the top. Surely they wouldn't put the old sealant strip back on??

They have fabricated a vent cover for the underside of the front lockers, as the dealer said it was probably water coming up when being towed in heavy rain. But it was dry when we parked it!

So, Mrs W been to van today, and more water! All along top of work surface, and in bed locker around water heater. Seat cushions all wet, fortunately bedding in that locker was in plastic bags. Not good, not happy.

Just wondered if anyone else had these problems? Is it possible for water to get into van through the Domestic vents if they are uncovered and van towed in heavy rain?

Have had a number of niggles with this van, and it's getting a bit much....

It wouldnt be condensation would it ? i was away last week and woke up to find the bedding wet and a cushion on one side of the van.The mrs also went into a lower cupboard at the door to get something and a cardboard box was wet at the bottom. My mate came over in the afternoon and he had the same problems. The vans had been left for a month without heating and we put it down to this.Next day after the vans heat up we had no further problems as it poured down and if there were leaks they would have shown themselves.

open up your front-side wet lockers , remove the screws that hold the plastic trays in,remove the trays and see if the wood below is wet.
known fault on the alutechs with water ingress through the front panel to floor joint and also through the grab handle bolts / led wire holes.
it can soak through the wet lockers into the bedding lockers.
masses of threads about it on another forum
