We've bought two vans from a dealer and both times they've not offered us a battery we've just swapped ours over, they've never asked us to leave ours as part of the sale. I don't think dealers care what is left in, they only value the van, not the other bits and bobs.
Going back to the vans with tv's in, if the previous owner has removed it to keep or its broken, I can't see what the problem is, you are after all buying a second hand van, not a new one, if its not to your liking because there's no tv, then you don't have to buy it, someone else will.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
The battery & the mover were not standard equipment so take those to your next van, but the EHU lead, TV & on Unicorns the Alko locks were original standard equipment. They should be left in the van.
If you take them out, then it should be fair that the dealer gives you a trade in value for a Ranger or Olympus as you are down specing your van so your trade in value should be expected to decrease too.
