I`m finding it rather difficult to settle at home after a trip away.. .granted, there`s a bit o` gipsy blood in the family (mother`s side) but ome is rather unsettling lol! Once a month is insufficient . . . . . What have I got into?
------------- Peripheral people don`t have as much excitement but they sure live longer
I have to agree with you. We returned yesterday after 8 nights away and it's depressing.
Don't know what it is about living in a small van compared to a big house, but I love the van more than home. Already looking for dates to go back again.
got to agree, i'd much rather be in the 'van than the house ,
the house is where we live but the 'van ,where ever we are is home, if money was no object and work wasn't a consideration ,give me the tin tent any time.
------------- no tin tent outings booked as yet ,just another cruise in Sept' booked so far
We are more fortunate we have 10 weeks earlier and the another 6 weeks from Sept. and everytime we wished we just did a turn around and went back out again.
We started married life in a caravan and would move right back into one tomorrow if we could. A life that felt as if we were on holiday all the time.
I had a chuckle reading this.
I'm half Irish & my family always say there's a bit of gypsy in me & that I'm going to run off with them 1 day. I love caravanning & feel really glum within a week of us coming back from a trip away. We've just bought a hobby 650 for a seasonal pitch next yr & I can't wait to set it all up.
there is something about caravan life which seems so much more easy going,
we go to our seasonal every weekend/school holiday and we love it, its just a holiday every weekend for the kids, but if we miss a weekend or even a night we feel a little cheated.
some of our pals have now bought statics but for me its not the same, home from home would not be right with a young family,
the tourer makes it special for us because its not like being at home.
to be honest i would move in tomorrow and rent my house out!
