Just purchased a bessacarr 500GLE of unknown age anyone be able to tell me how I find out

Seller said 1995 does this sound right only other one I can find is 1992

may help,post 92 all windows should be etched with vin/chassis number.find vin plate,tenth character gives the model year.

Decipher VIN number

The 500GLE was first introduced in 1990 and replaced the 500GL, it and the 500GLD model then finished in 93.
So no CRIS/VIN marking on windows strongly suggest 90/1, if it is marked, second line begins BEN for 92 or BEP for 93.

If it is not marked, the serial number if not on a plate by the door?, is under the gas locker on the offside 'A' frame, you should find it just forward of the bracket bolting the frame to the floor
