If i knew how to put a pic on here i would put a pic of my light fittings..
You need to upload and host the photo's on somewhere like Photobucket, then once you can view them online, use the web address (URL) of the photo's location to 'post' them on here using the button above.
If that's just techno-babble, email me the photo's and I'll host and post for you. Edited to remove email address
Having seen the full photo of the lamp fitting, it's a fairly low profile reflector type light with a standard G4 halogen fitted, however I think the 'stubby' type G4 LED replacement lamp would struggle to fit this.
I'd favour one of the small disk type replacement lights such as this type for example ...
The reflective function of the lamp wouldn't work, so the light output might appear to be dim, however I think you'd soon get used to this for the benefit of lower 12v consumption; I only mention this so you know in advance.
We have 2 of those over the washroom mirror where we really need maximum light output. Don't know what to use so haven't changed them yet - I feel they need the reflectors. They are the mini version of the light in the photo I posted on page 2. The stubby type of lamp we use in the large version definitely won't fit. Shame, as they are good and bright.
As another thought, how many of this type of light do you have? If it's just one or two in the washroom, then leave them with the halogen lamps in for now as the 'infrequent' use you'd give them wouldn't have much of an impact on your battery consumption.
Perhaps concentrate on the areas of high use, such as living area, reading spots etc.
We also have one of theese over the mirror in the bathroom...and will also feel that a bright light is needed there...well at least I have managed to change the spotlights...I will just have to remember not to turn the others on when we are not on EHU...

Well if the bathroom only needs the bright light over the mirror, consider fitting LED's to the other locations that you've got these fitted; you would probably be ok with slightly lower output in the lounge maybe?
Keep us posted when you've got the lamps and seen what's best.
Right LED mr11 are here witb a note
We recomend using led drivers with this product as standsrd halogen trsndformerd are not suitable and will destroy the lamps !!!! Ooerrrr.what they on about...anyone know ?

thats for if you are using them at home, normal household trannys kill LED stuff, the battery in your van is fine (even if the charger is on, the battery smooths the power and stops the damage)
ive used this seller for loads of LEd stuff, approx 80-90 lamps, only had one fail, DOA, they replaced the pair.
Well ..here I am ...got 2 disc type ..for the uplighters that run on 12v ..and all spots MR11 I got from Illustrom light .. I left 3 as halogen including the one in bathroom...to be honest the 2 disc type i got for less than £5 from Hong kong are brighter in the uplighter than Halogen......Thanks everyone..ill get back to my problem with the flat battery !!!!!
