Hi folks.
Picking our new twin axle van up on Thursday and after listening to lots of advice on here I'm going to make some levelling ramps out of decking. I'll cut 3 pieces with the edges taken off to aid getting on but I was unsure whether when using piece 2 or 3 they should form a ramp straight up onto the top piece or whether I should have a level section before climbing the top piece if you know what I mean, keeping in mind it's a twin axle and the pieces will not be permanently fixed together. Would welcome advice

Yes I do have a mover and yes being an Elddis it does have the independent suspension, I wast just try to think why I'd need the flat section between each level for twin axle if each piece is to be used as 1 two or 3 pieces stacked rather than attached as in the picture posted above (Thanks for that)
i was thinking the wheels will need to climb up to the required height.unless you can jack up the van to fit single pieces of wood.
not had a twin wheel so do not know.

It`s funny, you know. Last week, there was a caravan parked up from me. The pitch wasn`t dead level, but we put up wi that (near enough for jazz). This other guy had levelled up his van. But he`d gone too far the other way . . . ! I won`t say where it is, he might be reading this . . . . heh heh

Jyst do it .Cut your decking tnhe same length,then cut one end at an angle to form a ramp, Drill a hole at the square end so that you can put a peg through to hold them in place as you drive the van up the ramp and as you use 1,2,or three pieces you will always have a ramp at the start
