Looks like a good idea for a short stay if the weather is a bit 'iffy'....

That's what I was thinking, just a bit unsure about whether it will be big enough to give adequate shelter in the rain for taking shoes off. I know it doesnt come recommended for windy conditions but not sure how it will cope with a normal winters wind. I don't want to be getting up nearly every night taking it down if it got a bit breezy.

I seriously doubt it would be suitable for that or be even marketed to do so. As I said earlier we use a Shadow sheet that comes out 2 metres and has a width of 3.6 metres. That generally leaves a dry patch for leaving shoes out but is not always adequate, so something much smaller will fail in that task a lot more of the time.

Couldn't open my van without soaking the inside the other day due to the torrent running down the wall and over the door.

It would be extremely good for this.

Plastic underbed box for muddy shoes fits nicely under the van. Can't see one of these offering much shelter outside, just keep worst off the door for going in and out.

Well mine arrived this morning.(ordered last Sunday).

Looks well made and material seems quite thick.

As for storing footwear, that's asking too much, better getting a porch awning,But it's big enough for CHANGING your footwear when on entering your van when it's raining and also allows at least the top section of your door to be opened when it's raining but very warm

It's a Canopy with tapering clear sides.

I'm very pleased with it.

BTW, Thank you MattCharlie for the link.17

Andy.
