We have just come back from CC site Brown Moor, some person has stolen one of our fridge vents. How do I secure them so they cant be taken off, they even damaged the top of the one they could not get off.

I drilled a small hole in each cover and fastened them on with a cable tie but one was still stolen and the vent damaged at the same time!.

Thieving Towrags , and it was most probably a C.C Member as Brown Moor is a members only site .

without looking at my vents have you room to drill a tiny hole at each corner and fix with self tapper screws.

Much like my storage, forgot to take off the fridge vents and they were gone when i returned 2 days later.

Mind you, they also had the water heater cover and the little rubber cap for the lock on the toilet door.

possibly a reason NOT to secure them, more damage/cost when they do try,

I made mine out of sunshade for w/screen. Put them on with valcro, they do the job and because they look shabby nobody wants em.
