..on Thursday for 5 nights in Somerset in our Bailey. Hope the weather during the day is dry as we really need to blow these, after Christmas, lazy cobwebs outta our hair..
Meeting up with good friends on Saturday for a BBQ, bit of booze and alot of laughter so thereafter i don't suppose the weather will matter much..lol

Don't want to rain on your parade (and I'm sure you will already know this) but,
there are STILL huge tracts of land in Somerset that are under several feet of water.
I would hate for you to need your flippers and snorkel!!!

Checked with the site and all is well where water logging is concern but just seen forcast and yes your right its gonna be a cold un..lol. Never caravaned in the snow before, i just hope the heatings up to it.
Takin plenty of food, blankets, warm clothes and abit of booze (to help keep out those chills you understand). Crocheting, board games and my Kindle app should all do the trick if we get snowed in.

Well we had a lovely time. The site was empty, the sun was shining it was cold but a lovely calm, quiet break after having a hectic Christmas. BUT, unfortunately, we broke down on the way home. The cluctch went on the car so we were stranded in Salsbury. I kind homeowner allowed us to put the van on his drive (we were on a dodgy, busy road) and we called out the AA. All i can say it thank god for the AA. They were brillient and towed us, the car and van home...all 58ft of us including the tow truck....a sight to behold..lol. Why is there always a drama of some sort when we go away. still hers to November when were off somewhere again. Don't you just love caravaning..lol
