looking for another caravan checking ebay yesterday thought it was to good to be true went with asking price thinking seller made a mistake and will state correct price, i have heard nothing, email 6 times last 24hrs asking how do they want paying when can i collect etc. take a look
i can confirm that caravan is for sale. however its for sale at a dealers(bankhead caravans) in glenrothes, about 2 miles from my house.
i might phone them tomorrow and advise them of this.utter scum who try this nonsense
------------- Who needs travel agents,we have our static
If it is much too cheap & they ask for payment without buyer being able to see caravan first its a scam. So any scam is fairly obvious really. It does make me smile the way people frantically email these ads either in the hope its not a scam or just to prove the blindingly obvious. Scam attempts, by post/phone/email/ebay etc are a fact of life & pretty obvious to spot.
Becoming a total nightmare isn't it. I sold my van last weekend. I had somebody nearly not try to get hold of me because I hadn't updated my mobile number on Preloved and first off they couldn't ring me.
The people who did buy did every conceivable check on me before arrival from a CRIS to electoral roll and street view!
Don't blame them either with so many scammers about, quite happy to comply with anything if it proves we are who we say we are.

Ali
The lady that bought mine did no checks whatsoever. Just a quick glance round the van.
