Hi,

We will be taking our Avondale Passione 2008 onto a ferry shortly and they are asking for its height. We live in Lowestoft and its stored not far from my wife's family in Derby. Does anyone know where I could find out the height of particular models of vans?

All caravans are roughly the same height, 2.7mtrs to top of tv aerial. Have been on ferries loads of times and have always given this measurement. they dont measure your van when loading on to ferry

So as its shipping length is 7.01m, our car is 4.53m - if we said length for both of 12m, we wouldn't be far off would we? We're going over in late Feb so can't see it being a busy crossing so can't imagine a foot here or there would be a problem!

would put van down as 7 mtrs as the 0.01 of a meter could add a surcharge. Usually charge per half meter over 7mtrs on ferries. Wouldnt worry too much as they load you so quick they dont have time to check sizes,

my book says 2.56 to 2.59 m including aerial.(2008 caravan buyer) = 8.3968 ft/8.4952 ft old money.
