We have just bought our first caravan after years of tents. We decided on a colour theme and have spent a small fortune so far.....fortunately the caravan has a new awning that matches our chairs
well no , she just wants to replace our perfectly good 15 year old 16 piece melamine dinner set, and pans and knives and forks and spoons and caddys and mugs and kettle and teapot and coasters and place mats and wine glasses and beer glasses and tin opener and FLAMING, EGG CUPS, jeees.
I don't know whether this information will be of any use to you but the official awning size for the Amara 450/2 is 886 cms. which is the same as ours so if you do decide in the future that you do need an awning it is advised to opt for the 900 cms. awning. If you have a handbook with the caravan the awning size should be in there anyway. We had the same problem weather wise two years ago regarding collecting our caravan at the end of November so I understand your disappointment not being able to pick it up but Good luck with your new caravan anyway and hope we have a better summer ahead than we had last year.

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.

I managed to prise new aquarolls/waste master/battery + other bits out of the dealer when negotiating our new 'van. Its all ok, but shows you how much they are still making on the deal to throw these in.
I too am waiting for the snow to shift (currently about 8 inchs) where the van is going to park - which still needs levelling to boot. So itll be a week or two before i can bring ours home.
