I'm just starting to renovate a Lunar Meteor with no user manual to advise. Are any members still using one and willing to advise regarding the little mysteries this involves. For example where is and what form does the Cascade 2GE water heater gas control take - hoping to hear from someone-  skimmerflyer2

Thank you for your reply - however at this stage I have no reason to suspect that the water heater will fail to work satisfactorily - Firstly, I need to ascertain how to switch in on and off, there is no switch with green amber and red indication lights as there has been in previous vans I have owned.

michael,

Problem over, the penny finally dropped. Whilst in my van there is nothing resembling the separate switch shown in the various information sheets published by Carvers there is, situated on the bedside by the wardrobe a switch which matches the description given by Carver of that to the immersion heater and upon close inspection of the main electric control panel included is the switch and three indicator lights appertaining to the Carver 2EG. Many thanks for your interest. I still have hopes that we have members still using what I consider to be a future classic.
