I don't mean Eldiss or Swift but does it have it's own pet name?

I know people name cars and boats obviously have names but what about the poor tin camper?

Of course! Our first caravan was an Abbey Cabaret called Bertha. We loved her to bits (quite literally in fact) and she went to the Great Campsite In The Sky last year. We now have Patsy, a Pageant Provence. She is towed by Tessie The Two Ton Terracan.

Yes, we are quite mad.
