Going to give the van a good wash this weekend, we have been to her and she is turning green at the back, because we are near trees and water. So armed with a product called Elbow Grease (which i have heard good things) bucket and hose pipe we are using a friends drive to do it on. When do others wash the vans in preperation for the season???
Some times snow foam or fenwicks caravan cleaner then followed by Showroom shine.Showroom shine keeps it clean and waxed through out the season without water, great product..
we washed ours in January,it was green, it was like the hulk on roller skates, but have to wash again thanks to all the snow teach us for washing the van so early, but o hum, carn`t wait to get out there, and get some caravanning done

We too use a cover as we are near trees. We give it a thorough wash and wax before we cover in October, take out the upholstery and all fabrics except curtains and store them indoors. We uncover in March and it emerges just as we put it away - spotless.
Just washed mine for the second time this year. Each time I go out with it in the winter it gets covered in mud and crud off the roads. I always feels happier once it has been washed down and any road salt removed. Normally use Autoglym shampoo but the roof has a thick layer of Fenwicks overwintering on it so I leave that until the spring when the whole of the outside gets a good polish with Autoglym polish.

Any good car shampoo and polish wiil do the trick. Don't let people talk you into Fenwicks, it's overpriced. Personally I use Meguiars products.

I have to recommend a scoop of my wife's washing powder in a bucket of hot water and a good wash down, and use a dishwash brush or similar to get in to the nooks and crannies around lights, lockers etc. Cif on a dampcloth takes off stubborn black marks and lines. Then rinse completely with a hose and brush.
Finish off with a light polish and Bob's your uncle but I would hold off polishing until the snow and the worst of the winter is past. A fine day doesn't mean spring is here!
