We owned a couple of Avondales of around the same era, an Adonis and an Olympus, both had the Styrofoam sandwich construction floors, the Adonis was an 88 model and the Olympus was a 93,
It was only my old Monza which was a 82 model that had the solid plywood floor, which i can remember paying the dealer extra to give it a coat of creosote to help preserve it for us whilst he had it on the ramps doing the PDI, as it was brand new.
