Your Polo kerb weight is coming in around 1100 - 1200kg depending which model it is?
I found Parkers guide to be pretty good..look at the link and find which is your car. Its then a simple equation.
Caravan weight no more than 85% of kerb weight of car.
Eg. 0.85 x 1200kg = 1020kg (maximum caravan weight also known as MTPLM)
You can reduce the nose weight of a caravan by using a Gaslight bottle Visit Gaslight It's about half the weight of a steel bottle and safer.

what about the adria action, they are light are also look the biz. check here http://caravans.autotrader.co.uk/used-caravans/adria/action-361lh
I think all the op needs to understand that provided the caravan is within the tow weight for his car he will be legal. On the flat the car will tow at speed limit but on any sort of an incline it will slow down. For example he could be down to less that 40mph on motorway inclines & he will severely impede progress of following traffic in undulating countryside.
None of this will bother anybody(like myself)used to driving a fully laden hgv, if the op can laugh like hgv drivers at the cursings of other road users then he can tow the caravan with his car.
really, the adria comes in at 800kg and can take a 200kg payload, so no the eplore is actually over 100kg heavier before adding user items,,
the web page i showed was just for the purpose of showing you the van, 1000kg is max weight, the explore is almost that dry before any user items.
