As mentioned in a previous post we have purchased our very first caravan earlier in the week (Adria Adora 432UK 2006). I am really excited about it!!! Have been like a kid in a sweet shop this week doing lots more research finding out about the essentials of towing, equipment needed etc and this site has been a fabulous help.
Anyway, I just wanted to ask advice from other Adria owners re: porch awnings. I understand that the Adria rail heights are a little higher at 258cm and have seen conflicting opinion re: porch awnings - some report the 250cm awnings are just fine while others report they have had problems with them coming up a little short.
Just wanted to ask what your experiences have been.
Any advice / info would be greatly appreciated.
Hi We have an Adria Altea 542 UK and have two porch awning for it, A Techlite 1 and a Porchlite XL, and both are adequate and have never had any trouble with either interms of fit. I also read/heard the same as you, when we purchased our Adria, The only issue we have is with the slopping roof line and the door being at the front, Sometimes it takes an extra few minutes to get it all lined up, others, i get it right first time. I think its more the traditional porch awnings (i.e. Square) with poles etc, that might come up a little short.
