Bigb - I've had that happen and assumed that it was someone else's remote! LOL! Just think, when you change channels, the reverse applies!
If it is this, then it could probably be solved temporarily by just moving the TV, it worked for me.-------------

I'd have thought less likely to be other remotes to be honest as the windows would filter/diffract the IR from neighbouring remotes.
I'd at least do a process of elimination to try and trace cause.
Does your TV always switch to the same channel for example? Once settled on a station, put your own remote in a draw until needed to suss whether your own handset could be at fault (known this to happen more frequently than you'd credit).
Does this occur more often during the evening; some sets can be effected by certain types of lighting.
Generator? Possible.
Local radio mast? Not likely (I live within 50yards of a local TV repeater with radio/phone services, never experienced issues).
My guess is this is something more local in your van.------------- Paul

OOO that's a radical (and expensive) solution! I'd try the checks that Paul above suggests before doing that - unless its an excuse for new equipment!!
Another thing I thought of is that mine will sometimes change channels just because the remote needs new batteries.-------------
