Anyone know if these are any use or is a strong arm just as good?
We live in our caravan and have a very large awning. It seems to have gone very 'floppy' since the recent heavy snow. We did tighten the poles but does the tensioner do a better job?
I have heard conflicting information.
Hope someone can advise.
Thanks.------------- Anne Blackpool

One tip I found that works quite well, unzip any door/sidewall zips at the top before you tension the roof and once done rezip them, it makes for a better job.

I've got one but I find it easier to just use my arms.

I use one of these awning tensioner . Being a bit on the short side find it a lot easier. You have to be careful though as too much tension could put too much strain on the awning rail. Think I saw something about that on a forum on this site. I also paid a bit less than the one in the link------------- Robert (BoB)
