Hi guys just had my insurance renewal from the caravan club at £255, as usual i've looked around on a comparison site and found cheaper insurance with Mycaravaninsurance ??? coming in at £187.
Has anyone used this company ?? are they any good, the policy states that they are underwritten by uk general insurance, and mycaravaninsurance are trading names for e-insurance.
Normally the quotes are pretty similar and i stick with the caravan clubs quote but £68 is £68
Try Caravan Guard as well before you decide. We have been with them for years and although I shop around, they are very competitive with lots of discounts and extremely nice to deal with.
Just insured our caravan with Towergate taking up a quote we originally had from them at the Manchester Caravan Show. Ours is £287.00 and tbh after getting other quotes i found their cover to be just fine. Working in the insurance industry myself i know they are a good company and would not have any doubts placing my business with them
I'm slightly confused at the moment with the insurance as they are stating that my vans value is £9400 current market, yet when you look on the internet you can only get a 2007 for that if your lucky and thats private, 2009 at a dealers (can't find a 2008) is £11500
Hi we are with towergate and had an insurance claim, absolutely no problems at all, and they reduced our policy this year from £309.00 to £189.00, after match others, CC was £319.00 and would not budge. So have stayed with towergate 5th yr now.
I thinking of using Coast insurance they do new for old for 10 years and i get a 15% discount because i subscribe to practical caravan but the choice is up to you ...
