Hi, we're new to caravanning and looking at buying our first one. We're a bit worried about manouvering the van onto our drive as while the drive is narrow it is wide enough but the road is narrow too. Is it easy for two adults to move a van by hand? So we could unhitch and spin the van and push in by hand? We are so excited and really want to keep it at home.
Absolute doodle for two adults to maneuver dependent on weight or size but also you can attach a caravan mover see link - http://www.riverswayleisure.co.uk/acatalog/info_910666.html
We had this problem, and whist we could manoeuvre it by hand, it was hard as our drive also went up a slight gradient, so we decided to get a motor mover, best thing we have ever bought, the van can be moved really easy and can get it in to the tightest space and park it on the drive where when pushing it in we couldn't ever get it into.
Not cheap but tbh the best thing I think we've ever purchased for the van, we have since change vans to a slightly heavier and longer one, which no way could we have moved it in manually, like the previous ones, but we just swapped the mover over to this van, so really once you have one you can keep it and put it on your next one.
And welcome to UKCS :)

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
We had one of these and i bought it second hand.It did the job and thats all i needed though not fixed to the van.You just pressed a button to go forward and the same for reverse.

Try and see how it goes first. You might be young and fit and healthy and you will manage just fine.
I couldn't, I had to phone one of my lads to come and give me a hand (and it's tiny - they can pick it up and swivel it around with one hand!!) so in the end I put a motor mover on it and wish I had done it years ago! Yes they are expensive, but worth every penny. It's a downer coming home anyway, without half an hour or more pushing and shoving when you get home!
Hi whilst our van is not particularly heavy (1300kgs) on tarmac/concrete/ paving slabs, it is east to move by two people however get to site and having to man handle onto a gravel pitch or grass is a different matter. Suggest a motor mover would be a most worthwhile addition to the van. Cheapest i found recently £550.00) was riversway leisure, we got one for my fathers van and fitted it on a saturday afternoon.
