We've just bought a new caravan that has a microwave installed. Personally i can only really see us using it in the same way we use the one at home, for re-heating food. Oven for me please!!

Yes, they do! What you need to do is warm the pies in the microwave inside a paper bag, then grill! Then they are both warm and crispy!
Pies cook well in the double skillet - I don't have an oven, microwave or a grill in my little van, but the double skillet seems to do the lot!
I prefer a microwave , the oven was never used. So when I upgraded the kitchen a microwave was installed with a full extension shelf. Also a good saving in payload was also accommplished.
