my caravan has a ultrastore rapid water heater fitted and I
wish to satinse the water system with aquastar products,on the instructions it states if you have an active carbon filter this should be removed before flushing the water system through. I can not find in the instructions any ref'
to such filter, question being how can I find this out and how to remove if there is one, does any one have any advice on this please. thanks.

I think you will find that the ultrastore rapid water heater is not fitted with a carbon filter or otherwise. The filter is on the fresh water line. I have the Ultrastore Rapid manual and all it states is " Use wine vinegar for de-scaling the water heater, this being introduced into the appliance via the water supply. Allow the product to react and then thoroughly flush out the appliance with plenty of fresh water. To sterilise the water we recommend Certisil Combina or Micropur Forte. To avoid infestation by micro-organisms, the water content must be heated to 70°C at regular intervals. DO NOT USE THE WATER AS DRINKING WATER!" hope this helps.
