We've pick our shiny new bailey Pegasus bologna and we've not stopped smiling, some people said we was mad for swapping from a coachman to a bailey but as I look around it it seems as good and we've got a warranty so any problems and it just goes back!! Just got to fill it full of stuff and hook up
congratulations on your new van weve just changed from a bailey to a new coachman .loved the bailey although it was 15 years old but had some inheritance so went for a new one .i have to say the bailey was made with much stronger wood

Thanks all we have been in it every night so far,but how difficult is it to rearrange where you put everything!!!!! Lockers in different places &shapes , only gripe I've got is fitting the alko wheel locks first one is easy but the second one (twin axle) is a pain. Who ever thought this was a good idea want standing in front of a firing squad I'm sure I'll get used to it but at the moment
Have you bought the 2013 model? We had looked at the 2012 model and liked it very much but noticed the new model is about 60kg lighter.
I was also wondering about the new heating system as their is no on board "fire" and how this would work without EHU presuming you would have to use the fan which could drain the battery quite quickly.
We've bought a 2012 van but reg 2013,we to looked at the 2013 new model but didn't like the way the kitchen had been changed,it now seems to jut out into the middle of van, the sink seems to be in the wrong place also the front window take away a lot of locker space, the sales guy did explain the new heating system and it didn't seem any good with out a EHU but don't quote me on it,thats why we purchased what we did
Congrats On the new van.
We got ours last Friday ,swapped from a Lunar to an Elddis Avante 540. Love sitting in it of a night . ( sad I know ) roll on Easter for our first time away. Hope you have many a good time in your new van. Cheers scoobz.
We also changed from a coachman pastiche for a bailey last June .
The reason we didnt go for a coachman. the lay out we wanted was very expensive £5000 more and the weight was much heavier. I don't like the look of the outside.
We didn't buy a unicorn we had the Rimini. We love the lay out and like you, we have a long warranty so it will need to be repaired if anything goes wrong.
I must say I don't like the shapes of the bailey or the coachman now.
I did like the amara but they didn't do the same layout as the Rimini.
I think they do now.
My problem now is trying to sell or part exchange my bradcot awning so that we can buy a large porch for the bailey.

We are insured with CC and use one ALKO wheel lock on rear and sold secure Bulldog QD33 wheel clamp on front wheel. Adds a couple of quid to insurance policy, but makes life a lot easier.
Congratulations on getting your new van, soooooooooooo jealous!!!!!
I'm not the most patient of people and we bought a van too big for our car, so have bought a new car.....which is somewhere between here and Korea as we speak!!!!!!
Doesn't help the caravan dealer telling me how lovely the van looks on their forecourt.....IT'S MINE!!!!!!
