Hi we have just bought a adria optima caravan after camping for a few years and was hoping someone can help with the best way to charge the battery when on site as i can't see anything in the caravan to do this. The battery only runs the lights,water pump,toilet flush and extractor fan in the kitchen but don't want to go away and it ends up flat. Thanks
To be on the safe side, you might want to google your model number, quite often you can find a pdf version of your caravan handbook. we did with our first van, it proved very useful as we were newbies at the time.
normally if it has a fitted battery then when connected to EHU it should be charging.if you buy a little meter and you have a charger the battery terminals will be at 13.5 to 14 volts when on charge.
