Hi, Have been quoted "Maxxis Trailer" for new tyres for my Ranger  (185/65R14)

Anyone recommend this make..I have Trailermax fitted atm, and this is all they could find. Approx £57.00 fitted......would appreciate any thoughts ?

It's always best to opt for well branded named tyres if possible as these are obviously budget tyres at this price. Have a read of the thread below as some of the answers may help. Also ask the tyre fitter to have the tyres balaced as well because if you don't then it could cause the securing wheel bolts to come undone over time.

Thanks for your reply. Afraid they don't offer a choice on makes etc, it seems a mixed bag as far as budget tyres are concerned. I guess the existing Trailer max currently fitted were budget, and they have lasted a good 6 years. They must be safe surely ? yes balancing is a must I know, i wonder what the difference is between a known make and a budget tyre ?

Could go with a different size, but wondering if this would interfere with the mover !
