Hi

Has anyone purchased the additional shelf pack with a recent xplore 304 ?

If so where have you found space in the cupboards to be able to use them

Seems to me like it may be an option in the brochure that should be for the bigger vans and not for the 304 - but wanted to get others thoughts before contacting Elddis

Thanks

  Chris

Contacted Elddis via their website on Sun night but not heard anything apart from a standard "we have received you email and will respond in due course" typre of message

Anyone know how long they generally take to reply to emails or is it best to phone them

Thanks

  Chris

My parents bought one of the new Elddis models (not certain which one) with the additional shelf pack and had to cut them to size to fit the cupboards.

I thought that was a bit strange - I would have expected them to be pre-cut to size

Hi Peridot

Thanks for your reply - it would be good to know what model your parents purchased and where they were able to use the shelf pack

Also as well as cutting the shelves to size did they have to drill holes in the sides of the cupboards to take the plastic shelf supports

Thanks

  Chris

They're away in it at the moment

I should be speaking to them on Sunday and will see what I can find out if you haven't had any joy from Elddis by then.

Hi Peridot

Did you get chance to find out what model your parents have and where they use the additional shelf pack

Had a reply from Elddis saying the shelves should be used in the front offside locker (there isn't one on a 304 ?) or in the kitchen locker (which in a 304 has neither the space/height to fit 3 extra usable shelves, or the pre-drlled holes to take the plastic shelf clips if it did)

Am awaiting their responce to my latest reply

Regards

  Chris

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately Dad's brother died suddenly at the end of last week so it wasn't appropriate to make any enquiries about the caravan.

I'll find out what I can when the timing is more opportune.

The response from Elddis is a bit disappointing, to say the least.

Hi Peridot

Sorry to hear about your loss

Please do not bother about this until it is OK for you to do so - if that point ever arises

Your priority is not about my shelves

I have a 304 and made up my own shelfs. Also fitted a corner unit in the bathroom. The front cupboards above the windows, I am getting elastic nets, so up can open them without getting everything on your head!
