Hi,

At the end of last season our grumpy teenager announced that he would prefer to have his own sleeping space in the awning

So I bought a new zip in annexe with inner bedroom. As we are away over Easter I thought I'd have a closer look at it.

Are they easy to erect? There are very few poles it seems? And no instructions. I'm sure it will be straight forward but I don't want to be the campsite entertainment when I attempt it.

Does anyone have a PDF of the instructions or is it really that obvious?

Still can't get over how few poles there are, and none are missing because it did at least come with a pole diagram.

Yes we have one and they are easy to do.fully zip in the annex and attach side pole left first onto the frame of your large one.finish all poles that side then do the other side.fix in the long pole at the rear of the roof.to secure the two frames together.there should be a long pole that goes from the roof pole of the large awning and onto the rear pole of the annex.our has a slight bend this is to lift the roof to prevent rain collecting.you must use guy ropes to fix down secure because being square they are prone to blow down in a strong wind.

I've just dug out the pole diagram (S22 03 1)

Looks like there are 2 uprights and then 3 poles that go together to link them. There are 7 short poles in total, the uprights are both numbered 1&2 with a ground spike on the bottom of number 1 and a pin at the top of pole 2. Poles 3&5 have a flat end with a hole for the pin on pole 2 and pole 4 separates 3&5. Can't see how the poles are connected to he main awning though?

The diagram shows the poles looking like a goal mouth. Looks like they go at the rear of the annexe. I guess the guy ropes keep it taut - but this doesn't seem correct?

I think it's was called a sleep annexe as opposed to a tall annexe.

I take it the inner bedroom simply hangs off the annexe as there are no poles for this?

The inner tent may not be same as yours but ours just ties to all the surrounding poles,nb.take a ball of string with you as could need it.the base of which holds the double blow up bed.

Have found a copy of the frame diagram online, it is for a Dorema but is the same as the Sunncamp:

http://www.canvaslove.co.uk/download/i/mark_dl/u/4006900179/4579235503/dorema%20sloping%20annexe%20fraem%20diagram.pdf

Can't see how the frame attaches to the main awning poles?

I guess it just holds itself up with the guys?

The three roof poles have brackets on the end with a wing nut which clamp around the main poles.
