Went for a drive into the hills above me today most roads clear, pavements totally unusable ,had a report from down Llandudno way ,they have not had the snow there ,so it looks like north east Wales is the bad spot ,go for it jim
Thanks, much appreciated. I'll be leaving about ten in the morning, niot expecting anything we haven't had before.
No wifi there, but will post from the field tomorrow afternoon.
we towed for over 500 miles in snow through France a few years back ,the snow was 4 inches thick on the roof and front of the van , we had to stop every service station to defrost the wipers because they were freezing even with heater full on , truck were jackknifed and vans were in ditches , but even though we were only 10 MPH in some parts the traffic never stopped , my biggest fear was going into the steep hill on the Pyrinees , but luckily the snow had cleared by then , but we still had temperatures of minus 10 F passing Barcelona , another couple came in the site a week later , who said they left the same time as us , but they decided to leave the motorway and find a camp site , they got stuck as the roads leaving the motorway hadnt been cleared ,
