Oh well just rang Lady Margarets in Chirk to cancel our Easter break . Seems they are phoning everyone to cancel as snow that bad .
People can't get off there and no chance of getting down the lane !

We too can go anytime, I can remember only too well though when our holiday breaks were dictated by our working life and this Easter holiday was so precious with a day or so tagged on. We now avoid it as it does'nt help others who have to take advantage of it.

So sorry for all you folk who have to cancel.

We collect our new van (hopefully) on Thursday and are going to a local site for a trial run. If we cancel it will be 4 weeks before we can get another slot to collect the van

We are going to wait and see what it is like on Sunday. We are on a seasonal pitch so no towing or setting up but won't risk driving if it is icy. We are retired too so will go later if it is bad. Do feel for those who don't have that choice.

We are waiting to see how it goes this week. Will be gutted if have to cancel. But it isn't worth risking a dangerous journey so still keeping everything crossed. For anyone coming to Somerset it is,fine here at the moment.

I have booked the lake district (Black Beck if anyone knows it) for next week, I am hoping - possibly dreaming of a speedy thaw so that I can still make it.

Where are you off to Ian? I'm ok if it's cold, my worry is the driving condition of the roads near the site. I am hanging off until nearer the day to check on the them. I'm really looking forward to getting away, if it comes to it I may just go local.
