We have a 2009/10 Bailey Senator California which we have had for nearly a year. We absolutely love it but would like to know if its possible to buy a cabinet for the front. I think it was an optional extra when the van was new but we purchased it secondhand. Any advice would be appreciated.
In February CC Magazine there was one advertised for a Pageant,i don't know if it is the same wood colour. Price£130 ono if of interest the no 07976957899 Coventry.
I see that your tow car is a Kia Sorento auto. We are thinking of buying a Kia Sorento as our current car needs replacing. Hubby is not keen on automatics but I wonder what your views are?
I have had mine 9 years now and would not go back to a manual car for towing. It is the best towcar i have owned in 40 years caravanning. If you buy a Sorento Auto the road tax pre 06 is £270,post 06 £470 up to when the 2010 model came out with a lower tax, but they have not had the same reputation as a towcar as the previous models.
Thanks so much for your help. I will tell hubby. There seem to be a lot more autos on the market at the moment as well. I think he's just never had an auto so its out of his comfort zone but I'm sure he would soon get used to it.
I see you are located in MK. We live not far from you, in Flitwick. We've just been away for the Easter break and I can't wait to get away again. Unfortunately, I still work full time and so does hubby so we are fairly limited but get away whenever we can.
We also have a series 6 california which had the wrap around seating and we found the Bailey free standing table to heavy for everyday use, so i spoke to Bailey and yes they can make a centre chest but wait for it £300.00 which is very expensive so i placed adverts on Preloved,Gumtree and uk campsites and in a couple of days somebody came forward with the exact chest at £130,00 which I snapped up. Hope this info helps.

Maybe we are a bit late but we have exactly what you want, bailey charged us over £300 for it in 2009, we are changing our caravan, that is the reason for selling, if you are still interested you are welcomed to make an offer
I noticed your comments about the Sorento, my lad talked me into buying an Auto a few years back. I towed with the Sorento for a number or years until I changed it for the Jeep. I wouldn't go back to manual and when I change my Jeep next year I'll probably go back to the Kia. The Jeep is great but the Sorento was a better ride.
------------- Just saying
