I had an idea the other day, and decided to try it out whilst away in the van last weekend, and it worked brilliant!!.
the fitted sony stereo radio/cd player in my van, has no "aux in" socket for plugging in a mp3 player etc.
so remembering I bought a belkin fm transmitter a while ago for use in the car, but barely used it, I plugged my mp3 into it and tuned the sony radio into it, and the sound quality was amazing, also no need to keep getting up and down to adjust sound level etc. as it works from your hand and left on the front table, works with the cupboard door shut too.
anyone else used one in the van?, they can be obtained for just over a fiver on internet

can also plug tv through it, and get surround sound.but I need a slightly longer cable to plug to tv as the tv interferes with the signal slightly
cheers

Tried a couple of them over the years but always found there was too much interference for my liking. I ended up fitting a stereo with iPod connectivity so it keeps charged up too.

damn good idea.....i got one a few years back on ebay that charges the ipod....used to use it in the car, but got fed up with it.

i must dig it out an put in the van....in fact will work quite well as the 12v supply is in a good place, so can just plug it in to that.
