Does anybody still use them? Unless you drink water from the pumped system, I can`t really see the point (I can feel some responses to the contrary will be forthcoming). . . they`re a tad messy and all that . . .
------------- Peripheral people don`t have as much excitement but they sure live longer
We use a water filter and drink the water from the van. On our old van we used a whale aquasource water filter which I fitted under the bathroom sink and replaced it once a year.

June - IOW
Aug - can't decided

Plus many more weekends at every possible chance!
We had a water filter on our previous caravan but it was more trouble than it was worth actually especially in winter if you forget to remove it as the ice can expand and even crack the housing plus the ice destroys the carbon causing black bits which has to be flushed out. The water system on the caravan we have now didn't have a filter fitted as standard but to be quite honest I think they are a waste of time especially if you sterilise the system out twice a year with Puriclean like I do.
