Dont know your van but,i think you just answered your own problem as everything is done in auto mode..is the pump and the lights working ? you never said if they were or not.Do they work when the ehu cable is removed ? you havent said either..more facts the more replies.
Got to be a link missing between battery and lights etc, fues or switch or something. The ehu will provide a 12v aswell as 240v the 12v will be direct to your lights etc, if the battery has charge and doesn't power lights etc there must be a missing link, check wires to battery has the wire come off terminal, unline fuse, there is nearly always a fuse some where.
Corroded battery terminals? The mover should be wired independently to the standard 12v electrics so possibly the mover electrics are making good contact with the battery and the standard fit electrics are not.
Have you tried cleaning the battery terminals and refitting the battery?
there usually is a fuse marked battery on the main distribution box,this could be blown, there is also usually an inline fuse between the distribution box & the battery
Hi just another though and one we encountered, all fuses and visible connections made were sound and working. What we found was that the Earth wire (inside the sheath) had split whilst not breaking the out sheath, even though the mover still worked, separately wired to battery with its own earth.
It took a bit of reverse engineering with a continuity tester but we found the problem and easily fixed, therefore possibly check wires where there might be kink, as the wire inside could have split/broke.
The mover is connected directly to the battery. The charger connects to the battery through the caravan electrics. Sounds like the caravan electrics are not connected to the battery. Check a wire has not pulled out of the battery clamp, isolator switch or mover control unit. My caravan has some fuses under the front seats in addition to the ones on the charger.
Have you checked the fuses with a meter or just given them a visual inspection? I have seen fuses blow and still look intact, although it is rare, it does happen.
The other possibility is a faulty habitation relay.
